## **📌 Why the business name may be missing**

Local SEO Heatmaps display the business name stored for the selected project. In some cases, Google Places returns an address or location name instead of a registered business name. When this happens, the address or location name may appear in the box above the keyword field, or the business name may not appear as expected.

This is linked to the Google result selected for the project, rather than a problem with the heatmap list display. Address-only locations are also prevented from being added as new heatmaps.

## **🔎 Check the selected heatmap project**

1. Open **Local** from the left sidebar.
2. Select **Local SEO Heatmaps**.
3. Open the affected project.
4. Review the business details and the Google result selected for the project.

Confirm that the selected result represents the correct registered business and that its Google listing uses the expected business name. If the result is an address, landmark, or other location without a business name, the heatmap may continue to display that information.

## **🛠️ What to do next**

- Check that the correct Google Business Profile was selected when the heatmap was created.
- Use a Google result that clearly shows the registered business name and location.
- Refresh the heatmap after confirming the project details.
- If the name has been missing for several days, review whether the selected Google result is an address-only location rather than a business listing.
