## **🧭 Open the agency setup page**

Sign in to Search Atlas and go to **More Features → Agency Whitelabel**. You can also open **/agency-settings** directly. Select **White Label Setup** to begin.

## **🌐 Add your agency domain**

1. Enter the custom domain or subdomain you want to use for your agency experience.
2. Save the domain to display the DNS record details provided by Search Atlas.
3. Keep this page open while updating your DNS provider.

## **🛠️ Create the DNS record**

1. Sign in to the company where your domain’s DNS is managed, such as your domain registrar or hosting provider.
2. Open the DNS, DNS management, or zone editor for the domain.
3. Add the record shown in Search Atlas. Use the exact record type, host or name, and target or value provided in **White Label Setup**.
4. Do not add extra spaces, quotation marks, or the full domain twice. If your provider automatically appends the domain name, enter only the host portion.
5. Save the DNS change. Remove conflicting records for the same host if your DNS provider requires a single record.

## **✅ Verify the connection**

1. Return to **More Features → Agency Whitelabel → White Label Setup**.
2. Select the option to verify or refresh the DNS status.
3. Wait for the status to show that the domain is connected. DNS updates can take time to reach all providers.

## **🔎 Troubleshoot common issues**

- **Verification fails:** Confirm that the record exactly matches the value shown in Search Atlas.
- **Record is not found:** Check that you edited the authoritative DNS provider, not only your website hosting settings.
- **Host is duplicated:** Try entering only the subdomain, such as **app**, instead of **app.example.com**, if your provider adds the domain automatically.
- **Proxy or CDN is enabled:** If your DNS provider offers proxying, temporarily use DNS-only mode while verifying the record.
- **Changes are still pending:** Allow time for DNS propagation, then refresh the setup status in Search Atlas.
