## **🔍 Why ads may fail to publish**

Search Atlas sends your campaign details to Google or Facebook for validation and publishing. A campaign can fail when the destination account, permissions, payment setup, ad content, or platform connection is not ready.

Publishing may also remain pending while the destination platform reviews the request. This review can take longer than expected, especially when an account has recently changed its billing, permissions, business details, or advertising settings.

## **✅ Check the campaign status**

1. Open the campaign in Search Atlas and review its current status.
2. Look for an error, warning, or pending message associated with the failed ad.
3. Confirm that the campaign, ad group, creative, audience, budget, and schedule are complete.
4. Check whether the ad was created as a draft instead of submitted for publishing.

If an error message is shown, save the exact wording. It helps identify whether the issue is caused by Search Atlas or by Google or Facebook validation.

## **🔐 Verify account access**

- Confirm that the connected Google Ads or Facebook advertising account is the intended account.
- Make sure the user who connected the account still has permission to create and publish ads.
- For Facebook, verify access to the correct Business Manager, ad account, page, pixel, and payment profile.
- For Google, verify access to the correct Ads account, customer ID, billing profile, and conversion resources.
- Reconnect the advertising account if its authorization expired or access was recently changed.

Do not disconnect an account if doing so could remove an active connection or interrupt running campaigns. Confirm the account and permissions first.

## **💳 Check billing and platform restrictions**

Google and Facebook can reject publishing when an account has an unpaid balance, failed payment method, spending limit, disabled account, business verification issue, or policy restriction. Review the destination platform directly for alerts, account notifications, or requests for verification.

Search Atlas cannot override a rejection, account suspension, payment failure, or policy decision made by Google or Facebook.

## **📝 Review ad content**

Check the headline, description, images, landing page, targeting, and destination URL. Common rejection causes include unsupported claims, restricted products, misleading content, broken landing pages, missing disclosures, or content that does not match the platform’s advertising policies.

Make sure the landing page loads correctly, uses a secure connection, and is accessible to the intended audience. Remove unsupported characters or incomplete fields, then save the ad and submit it again.

## **🔄 Retry publishing safely**

1. Correct any missing fields, permissions, billing issues, or policy warnings.
2. Save the campaign and wait for the updated status to appear.
3. Submit the campaign again once the destination account is ready.
4. Check the destination platform to confirm whether the ad was published, rejected, or duplicated.
5. Avoid repeated submissions while a request is pending, since this can create duplicate drafts or make the status harder to interpret.

## **⏳ When publishing stays pending**

A pending status does not always indicate a Search Atlas error. The request may be waiting for platform review, account synchronization, or a response from Google or Facebook. Allow time for the destination platform to process the request before submitting it repeatedly.

If the status has not changed after a reasonable processing period, collect the campaign name, destination platform, account identifier, error text, submission time, and a screenshot. Do not share passwords or payment details.

## **🛠️ When to contact support**

Contact support when the campaign remains stuck after you verify access, billing, content, and destination-platform alerts; when Search Atlas shows a technical error; or when the status does not match the status shown in Google or Facebook.

If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type **human teammate** to be instantly connected with a member of our team.
