Publication Media is the platform for website owners ("publishers") who host sponsored articles for pay. It runs on the same marketplace backend as Link Laboratory, but the two serve opposite sides of that marketplace:
Publication Media (this platform) — for publishers: adding your site, verifying ownership, receiving article assignments, and getting paid.
Link Laboratory — for advertisers/buyers: browsing the site catalog and purchasing placements. See the separate Link Laboratory Help Center for that side.
If a website owner is asking about adding their site or getting paid, that's Publication Media. If a Search Atlas customer is asking about buying a placement or browsing publishers, that's Link Laboratory — not this platform.
To be added to the marketplace, a site must be under your ownership — admin rights alone don't qualify, you need to confirm you're the actual site owner. Ownership is verified by inserting a unique metatag into your site's source code, in this format:

Add that metatag to the <head> section of your site's active theme/template. To confirm it's live before asking for verification, right-click your site, choose "View Page Source," and search the page for your metatag.
Once submitted, one of two paths applies:
If you were invited with a pre-filled offer, confirming it gives you instant access to your Publication Media dashboard.
If you're applying on your own, or adding an additional site to an account you already have, your submission is queued for review — this typically takes 10–15 business days.
To be eligible for the marketplace, a site generally needs a Domain Authority of at least 20 and at least 100 monthly organic visitors. Two common reasons a site gets rejected: it doesn't meet those metric thresholds, or it's already been ownership-verified by a different publisher (each site can only be claimed once).
If you already have a Publication Media account and want to add another site, log in at dashboard.publication.media/publications, click Add Site, enter the site URL and your price per article, and submit — it goes through the same ownership and quality review as a new account.
Payments are processed weekly via PayPal, every Tuesday, for verified publications from the prior week. Once an article is published, you have 24 hours to confirm the live URL in your dashboard for it to count toward that week's payment.
Published articles need to stay live for at least 365 days, and all links must remain do-follow. If you've agreed to a price for a placement, that price is locked in for 30 days and can't be changed or countered during that period.
Publication Media, Link Laboratory, and Signal Genesys are three different products, each with their own Help Center, login, and support team — and none of them are the same as Search Atlas's own Authority Building or Digital PR features. If a customer's question is really about buying placements rather than hosting them as a publisher, that's a Link Laboratory question, not a Publication Media one.
