This article covers how to connect your Google Analytics account to Search Atlas and where to find your analytics data once the integration is active.
To locate the Google Analytics integration inside Search Atlas:
Log in to your Search Atlas account.
Navigate to the Settings section from the main menu or sidebar.
Look for an Integrations option within Settings.
Select Google Analytics from the list of available integrations.
If you do not see the Google Analytics option, it is possible the integration is not included in your current plan, or your account role may not have permission to manage integrations. In that case, ask your account owner to attempt the connection or reach out to review your plan options.
Once you have located the Google Analytics integration, follow these steps to complete the connection:
Click the button to connect or authorize Google Analytics.
You will be redirected to a Google authorization screen — sign in with the Google account that has access to your Analytics property.
Grant Search Atlas the requested permissions to access your Google Analytics data.
After authorizing, return to Search Atlas and select the Google Analytics property (e.g., your GA4 property) you want to pull data from.
Save your selection to complete the integration.
If you encounter an error during authorization, are unable to select the correct property, or do not see the connection option after navigating to Integrations, note the following details before escalating:
The email address associated with your Search Atlas account
Whether you are an account owner or a team member with a different role
The Google Analytics property type you are trying to connect (e.g., GA4)
Any error message or unexpected behavior you encountered
Once the integration is active, your Google Analytics data should become accessible within the platform. If data does not appear immediately after connecting, wait a few minutes for the initial sync to complete, then refresh the page. If reports are still not loading after waiting and refreshing, our team can confirm whether the integration completed successfully on your account.
