The WordPress plugin is called Search Atlas — not "MetaSync by Search Atlas" or any other variation. Although the plugin's underlying technology is named MetaSync, the name you will see in the WordPress Plugin Directory and inside your WordPress dashboard is simply Search Atlas.
If you search the WordPress Plugin Directory or your WordPress admin panel for "MetaSync by Search Atlas," you will not find a match. Always search for Search Atlas.
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Go to Plugins → Add New.
In the search bar, type Search Atlas.
Locate the plugin named Search Atlas in the results and click Install Now.
Once installed, click Activate.
Connect the plugin to your Search Atlas account using your API key or login credentials when prompted.
No separate download or additional plugin is required. The Search Atlas plugin handles MetaSync functionality automatically once activated.
After activating the plugin, log in to your Search Atlas account and confirm that your site is recognized within the platform. If your site does not appear connected after activation, double-check that you used the correct API key or credentials during the plugin setup. AI Visibility licenses are separate from OTTO SEO licenses. Upgrading your OTTO license does not automatically add AI Visibility licenses to your account. These are two distinct product features with independent license pools.
Here is how each license type works:
OTTO SEO licenses — allow you to engage OTTO on a website and run automated SEO tasks.
AI Visibility licenses — allow you to activate an AI Visibility project for a site, which tracks how your brand appears in AI-generated search results.
If you were told during your upgrade that AI Visibility licenses would be included, this may have been part of a specific promotional offer or package. You will need to verify the exact terms of your upgrade with our team.
To activate an AI Visibility project for a site, log in to your Search Atlas account and locate the AI Visibility feature within the platform. If you do not see an option to activate AI Visibility, it is likely that your current plan does not include AI Visibility licenses. Contact our team to confirm whether your plan includes AI Visibility access or to add licenses to your account.
