Two common issues affect Report Builder exports and shared report links: PDF exports that show only a subset of your tracked keywords (for example, 10 out of 26), and public report links that display empty sections for widgets like Rank Tracker while only showing Google Analytics data. This article explains why these issues occur and what steps you can take right now to work around them.
When you export a report to PDF, the Rank Tracker widget may display fewer keywords than you have actually tracked. This is a confirmed platform bug that our team is aware of and working to resolve.
Why it happens: Not all keywords visible inside the platform are rendered in the PDF export output — some keywords are cut off during the export process.
Current workaround:
Open your report inside the platform and take a full-page screenshot of the Rank Tracker section for a complete view of all keywords.
Export keyword data directly from the Keyword Rank Tracker tool as a CSV for a full data set to share with clients.
Reduce the number of keywords displayed in a single Rank Tracker widget by splitting them across multiple widgets grouped by topic or priority, which may help reduce truncation in the current export.
When you share a report via a public link, some sections — including Rank Tracker — may appear empty or blank, while only certain integrations such as Google Analytics display data correctly.
Why it happens: This is a known issue where certain widget data does not load correctly in the public report link view, even though all sections display properly when viewing the report while logged in to the platform.
Current workaround:
Instead of sharing the public link directly, use the PDF export from inside the platform and share the downloaded file with your client. Note: apply the keyword truncation workaround above if Rank Tracker data is important.
Walk clients through the report in a live screen-share session using the in-platform view, which displays all sections correctly.
For white-label purposes, ensure your branding is configured before generating the PDF so that exported files carry your branding.
Open your report inside the platform while logged in.
Confirm all sections display the data you expect before exporting.
Use the PDF export option within Report Builder to download the file.
Apply any workarounds noted above for Rank Tracker keyword truncation before sharing with clients.
