Search Atlas subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. If you want to cancel before your next payment is processed, it's important to understand the cancellation cutoff window so you can act in time and avoid an unwanted charge.
Your billing date is set when you first subscribe and remains consistent each month. The exact date can shift slightly depending on weekends, public holidays, and payment processor timing, which is why you may notice a small variation of a day or two from month to month.
To confirm your exact next billing date, log in to your Search Atlas account and check your subscription or billing information in your account settings.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel your subscription before your renewal date is reached. Because payment processing can occur at any point on or around your renewal date, we recommend cancelling with enough lead time — ideally at least a day or two before your expected renewal — to ensure the cancellation is fully processed before the charge is triggered.
This buffer accounts for:
Minor variations in payment processing timing
Weekends or bank holidays that can shift the charge date
The time needed for the cancellation to sync fully with our billing system
When you cancel your subscription, you will retain full access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation takes effect.
To cancel, log in to your Search Atlas account and navigate to your account settings to find the subscription management options. Follow the on-screen steps to submit your cancellation and confirm it when prompted. After cancelling, verify that your subscription status reflects the change before your next billing date. If the status still shows as active and renewing, contact our support team immediately.
Cancellations are not retroactive. If your account has already been charged for the current cycle, the cancellation will apply to the following renewal.
Check your billing date in advance. Don't wait until the last moment — confirm your renewal date ahead of time so you have enough buffer to cancel if needed.
Save your confirmation. After cancelling, note any confirmation details in case you need to reference them later.
