When reviewing your GBP Audit report, you may see a recommendation to add Yelp as a social profile. However, if you navigate to the social profiles section and open the dropdown menu, Yelp is not listed as an option. This is not a bug or a settings issue — it is a current platform limitation. This article explains why this happens and how to handle the recommendation.
Search Atlas's GBP Audit report analyses your Google Business Profile data and flags any social profile links that are missing or incomplete based on what Google supports. Because Google itself supports Yelp as a valid social profile type, the audit report will surface it as a recommendation if your GBP does not already have a Yelp link attached.
However, the social profiles dropdown inside Search Atlas currently includes only a defined set of supported platforms. Yelp is not yet available as a selectable option in the platform's dropdown menu. This means the audit can detect the gap, but the platform cannot yet be used to add the Yelp link directly through the dropdown interface.
Even though you cannot add your Yelp profile through the Search Atlas interface at this time, you can still resolve the audit recommendation by adding your Yelp link directly inside Google Business Profile. Follow these steps:
Go to your Google Business Profile at business.google.com and sign in.
Select the business location you are working on.
Navigate to Edit profile, then open the Contact section.
Scroll to Social profiles and click the option to add a new social link.
Select Yelp from Google's dropdown and paste your full Yelp business profile URL.
Save your changes.
Once you have added the Yelp link directly in Google Business Profile, re-run your GBP Audit in Search Atlas. The recommendation should no longer appear in your next audit report.
The social profiles dropdown in Search Atlas currently supports the most widely used platforms. While the exact list may be updated over time, commonly supported options include:

Yelp is not currently included in this list. If a platform you need is missing, the workaround above — adding the link directly in Google Business Profile — applies in every case.
To access your GBP Audit and review social profile recommendations, use the following navigation path:
In the left sidebar, go to Local → GBP Projects.
Locate your project and click View project.
Open the Overview → About tab to review audit suggestions and apply available changes.
For recommendations that cannot be actioned directly in Search Atlas (such as Yelp), use the direct Google Business Profile method described above.
The Search Atlas team regularly expands the list of supported social profiles. Yelp support may be added to the dropdown in a future release. When it becomes available, you will be able to manage your Yelp profile link directly within the platform without needing to visit Google Business Profile separately.
