Search Atlas does not currently offer a native, one-click integration with third-party content curation tools like UpContent. This article explains how you can still bring external content into your Search Atlas workflow without waiting for a direct integration.
Customers searching for an UpContent integration (or similar tools such as Curata, Feedly, or RSS-based sources) encounter this gap because Search Atlas manages content creation and optimization internally through Content Genius rather than pulling from external curation platforms via an API connection.
Because there is no direct integration, the confirmed approach is to manually bring your external content into Search Atlas:
Export your content from the third-party tool. In UpContent (or your preferred curation platform), locate the article or content piece you want to use and copy the full text, or export it as a plain-text or HTML file.
Open Content Genius. Navigate to the Content Genius section within your Search Atlas platform.
Start a content session for existing content. Look for an option that allows you to work with or import content you already have, rather than generating new content from scratch. The exact label may vary depending on your account or platform version.
Paste your external content. Copy the text from your third-party source and paste it into the content editor field.
Set your target keyword and settings. Enter the primary keyword you want the content optimized for, configure any additional settings as available, then run the optimization to let Content Genius analyze and enhance the imported text.
Review and edit the output. Once processing completes, review the suggestions and recommendations. Accept, modify, or reject changes as needed before publishing.
When this approach works successfully, your pasted content should appear in the Content Genius editor and be processed against the target keyword you entered. If you encounter an option or step that does not match what is shown in your account, the interface may differ — contact support for guidance specific to your account setup.
