A platform-side bug caused a number of Local SEO heatmaps to generate incomplete grids rather than the expected full grid layout. This affected projects across multiple accounts running heatmap refreshes.
The root cause was a bug in the heatmap grid generation and quota handling process. Rather than failing gracefully when an error occurred, the system consumed credits and returned a malformed or incomplete grid output. Both issues have since been identified and resolved by our engineering team.
Grid generation bug: The underlying issue that caused incomplete heatmap grids to be produced has been corrected. New refreshes will produce full grids as expected.
Quota handling: The error in how quota was tracked and applied during heatmap refreshes has been resolved.
If your account consumed credits for heatmap refreshes that returned incomplete grids, those credits may be eligible for a refund. Refunds are being reviewed and processed for confirmed affected accounts.
To check the status of your refund or verify whether your account is included:
Navigate to the Local SEO section of the platform and review your current heatmap and quota status.
Check your credit balance to confirm whether the refund has already been applied.

Once the fix is confirmed on your account, you can re-run heatmap refreshes to generate complete grids. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Local SEO section of the platform and select the relevant project.
Open the heatmap you want to refresh and confirm whether it is showing an incomplete grid.
Trigger a manual refresh. The system will now process the full grid correctly using your available quota.
Allow a few minutes for the grid to fully render, then reload the page to confirm the complete grid is displayed.
