When you share a Search Atlas report via a public link, Google Business Profile (GBP) locations may appear as generic placeholders — such as Google Business Profile 1 — instead of your actual brand names and addresses. This also affects how tracked keywords display in the Local Pack tab of shared reports.
This article explains why this happens and what to have ready when contacting support so the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.
Shared report links are accessible without requiring the viewer to log in to Search Atlas. In some cases, the system that fetches GBP location details — including business names and addresses — does not correctly serve that data to unauthenticated (logged-out) viewers. As a result, the report falls back to placeholder text instead of your real location data.
