## **Overview**

OTTO SEO allows you to generate, review, and deploy meta descriptions in bulk — so you don't have to update pages one by one. This article explains the general process for bulk deploying meta descriptions through OTTO SEO automation.

## **Before You Start**

Make sure the following conditions are met before attempting a bulk deployment:

- Your site is connected to OTTO SEO and OTTO is active.
- Your WordPress integration is connected and syncing correctly (if applicable).
- You have navigated to **OTTO SEO → All Sites (SEO Automation)** via the left sidebar in the platform.

## **How to Bulk Deploy Meta Descriptions**

1. **Open OTTO SEO.** In the left sidebar, click **OTTO SEO → All Sites (SEO Automation)** to open the automation dashboard.
2. **Locate the Meta Descriptions section.** Within OTTO SEO, navigate to the section where meta description suggestions are displayed for your pages.
3. **Generate suggestions if needed.** If suggestions have not been generated yet, use the available option to generate AI meta description suggestions. Wait for the process to complete before proceeding, as generation may take a few moments depending on the number of pages.
4. **Review your suggestions.** Browse through the list and make any adjustments to individual meta descriptions before deploying.
5. **Select the meta descriptions you want to deploy.** Use the selection controls available in the interface to choose the meta descriptions you wish to deploy in bulk.
6. **Deploy in bulk.** Once your desired items are selected, use the deploy option. OTTO will push the selected meta descriptions to your site.

## **If Bulk Deployment Does Not Behave as Expected**

If you experience issues during bulk deployment — such as only some meta descriptions being deployed, changes not appearing on your live site, or errors during the process — please reach out to our support team for assistance. When escalating, have the following ready:

- Your project name and the site URL connected to OTTO SEO.
- A description of what happened (e.g., how many meta descriptions you attempted to deploy and how many were actually applied).
- Any error messages you saw, along with the approximate time the issue occurred.
- Screenshots of the current state in OTTO SEO, if possible.
