## **🔍 Overview**

If you want to cancel your Search Atlas subscription — including a Starter trial — and ensure you are not charged on your next billing date, you can do this yourself directly from your dashboard. Once cancelled, you will receive confirmation that no further charges will be applied.

## **📋 Before You Cancel**

- **Access ends at the current billing period:** After cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. You will not be charged again after that date.
- **Trial cancellations:** If you are on a free or paid trial, cancelling before the trial end date prevents the first full charge from being applied.
- **No hidden fees:** There are no early-termination fees.
- **Reversible:** A pending cancellation can be reversed from the same place by clicking **Activate**.

## **🛠️ How to Cancel**

You can cancel your subscription yourself from the dashboard:

1. Click your **Profile avatar**
2. Go to **Billing** → **Services**
3. Click the **⋮ (three-dot) menu** on the plan
4. Select **Cancel**
5. A confirmation/retention step will appear before the final confirmation

Contacting support is optional, not required, to cancel.

## **✅ Confirming Your Cancellation**

Once your cancellation is processed, you will receive confirmation that:

- Auto-renewal has been disabled on your account
- No further charges will be applied to your payment method after your current billing period ends
- Your access will remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for

If you want a written record, we recommend saving any confirmation message you receive.

## **⚠️ Common Questions**

- **Will I be charged on my next billing date after cancelling?** No. Once cancellation is confirmed, auto-renewal is turned off and no further charges will be processed.
- **Can I reactivate my subscription later?** Yes. A pending cancellation can be reversed from the same place in the dashboard by clicking **Activate**.
