Local citation campaigns in Search Atlas sometimes appear stuck under **Local → Local Citations (Local Citations)** with a status of **Incomplete** or **Warning** instead of **Complete** for an extended period. This is a known issue that our internal team can investigate and resolve on the backend. There is currently no self-serve option to force a status update from within the platform.

## **⚠️ Why This Happens**

A citation campaign may remain in an **Incomplete** or **Warning** state without progressing to **Complete** due to a backend processing issue. The exact root cause can vary by campaign and requires investigation by our support team.

## **✅ Steps to Take Before Contacting Support**

1. Locate the affected citation campaign in the platform and note its current status.
2. Record your **campaign name or ID** — you will need this when contacting support.
3. Note approximately when the campaign was submitted, so our team can assess how long it has been stuck.

When our support team investigates a stuck citation campaign, we will look into the backend status of your submission and take the appropriate action to resolve it. These actions can only be performed by our internal team.

- The approximate **date the campaign was submitted**
