Search Atlas uses three separate resource systems that are commonly confused. OTTO Site slots, Hyperdrive Credits (HDC), and AI quotas are each independent — exhausting one does not draw from another, and adding a site to one tool does not automatically activate another.

# **🏗️ OTTO Sites: Slot-Based Quota**

Your plan includes a fixed number of **OTTO Site** slots. Activating **OTTO SEO** (Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → All Sites) on a domain consumes one slot. Deactivating OTTO on that domain returns the slot to your plan allowance.

- Adding a site to **Site Auditor**, **Keyword Tracker**, or **Site Explorer** does **not** consume an OTTO Site slot — these tools have their own separate project limits.
- Users on older plans may see two distinct quota lines: **OTTO V1 Projects** and **OTTO V2 Projects**. Both are tracked independently.

# **💳 Hyperdrive Credits (HDC): Spendable Balance**

**Hyperdrive Credits** are a spendable balance used for specific paid services:

- LinkLab orders
- Press Release distribution
- Cloud Stack content generation
- Authority Building campaigns
- URL Indexer top-ups

HDC does **not** cover AI suggestion generation or AI content generation — those draw from a separate AI quota pool. Your plan includes an HDC allocation; if it runs out, it does not reset automatically. You must purchase additional credits to continue using HDC-powered services.

# **🤖 AI Quotas: Three Independent Limits**

AI-powered features draw from three separate quota pools, each with its own limit:

- **AI Suggestions** — Covers OTTO-generated on-page recommendations
- **AI Premium** — Higher-quality content generation, used by tools such as Content Genius
- **AI Content** — Standard AI content generation volume

When your **AI Suggestions** quota is exhausted, OTTO stops generating new recommendations without always displaying an in-app alert. Check your quota usage proactively to avoid unexpected interruptions.

# **🔍 How to Check Your Quotas**

1. Log in to your **Search Atlas** dashboard.
2. Click your **Avatar** (top-right) → **Billing** → **Plans & Top-ups**.
3. Review each section separately: OTTO Sites, Hyperdrive Credits, and AI quotas are displayed as distinct quota lines, not a single combined balance.
