The **Search Atlas Site Auditor** **supports JavaScript rendering**. However, there is a known limitation when **OTTO** is deployed via the **manual\_script (pixel)** installation.

This means:

- The auditor can crawl and analyze pages with **JavaScript rendering enabled**.
- When OTTO is deployed via the **pixel (manual script)** installation, the crawler may currently display the **original source titles** rather than the **OTTO-deployed titles**, even when JS rendering is active. This is a known issue under active remediation.

🧩 Example:  
If OTTO has deployed updated **title tags** or **meta descriptions** to your site via the pixel script, these changes may not be reflected in the Site Auditor report even though they are live on the page.

## 🚀 The Search Atlas Approach to Fixing This

Our team is actively working to resolve the known issue affecting **OTTO pixel deployments** so that the Site Auditor accurately reflects OTTO-deployed content.  
Once resolved, this update will allow the tool to:

- Accurately detect **OTTO-deployed titles and meta descriptions**
- Audit **dynamic website changes** consistently
- Provide **more comprehensive and accurate** crawl reports

✅ **Important Note:**  
Even though the Site Auditor may not currently reflect OTTO-deployed changes for pixel installations, **Google can**. Search engines like Google use advanced rendering engines to process JavaScript content, meaning that any changes made via JavaScript can still be visible and indexable by Google's crawlers.

So, if the auditor doesn't reflect a recent fix, that doesn't necessarily mean the issue remains unfixed on the live site, as Google may already be processing the JavaScript-rendered version correctly.

**Website Studio users:** If your site is hosted in Website Studio with a connected custom domain and OTTO deployments (such as meta descriptions or title tags) are not applying as expected, OTTO behavior may differ from external sites that use the pixel script. Please verify your script installation, confirm your custom domain is properly connected, and contact support if deployed changes are not being reflected.
