## 🗺️ Overview

The Website Migration skills package is a ZIP file containing structured skill folders you load into Claude (via your MCP client or directly). This article explains what each package version contains, when the **migration-template-builder** Stage 4 skill was introduced, and how to get the most up-to-date package.



## 📋 Skills Package Version History

Use the table below to identify your package version and confirm which skills are included.

- **v1.4 (released 2026-06-23) — 6 skill folders:** migration-site-audit, migration-gap-analysis, migration-redirect-mapper, migration-content-classifier, migration-risk-assessor, migration-qa-checker. *Does not include migration-template-builder.*
- **v1.5 (released 2026-06-27) — 7 skill folders:** All six skills above, plus **migration-template-builder** (Stage 4). This is the version documented in the current HTML walkthrough.

If your ZIP is dated **2026-06-23** or shows only six folders, you have v1.4. The Stage 4 **migration-template-builder** skill does not exist in that version — it was added four days later in v1.5. No amount of reloading or reconnecting your MCP client will make it appear, because it is simply not present in that file.



## ⬇️ Download the Current Skills Package

1. Log in to Search Atlas and go to **Home** (left sidebar, URL: /home).
2. Open the **Features** menu by clicking **Open features menu** in the top area of the Home page.
3. Locate the **Website Migration Skills** package card and click **Download Latest ZIP**.
4. Confirm the downloaded filename shows **v1.5** (or higher) and the date **2026-06-27** or later before proceeding.

## 🔄 Replace Your Old Skills Folder

1. Unzip the newly downloaded package to a local folder.
2. Verify the folder now contains **seven** skill subfolders, including **migration-template-builder**.
3. In your MCP client (or Claude project settings), remove or replace the reference to the old v1.4 skills directory with the path to your new v1.5 folder.
4. Reload your MCP client session so Claude picks up the updated skill set.
5. Confirm **migration-template-builder** is available by asking Claude to list loaded skills or by starting a Stage 4 task in the HTML walkthrough.

## ✅ Verify the Stage 4 Skill Is Active

After reloading, run a quick check to make sure everything is in order:

- Ask Claude: *"Which website migration skills do you have loaded?"* — the response should list all seven skills, including **migration-template-builder**.
- Cross-reference with the HTML walkthrough Stage 4 section; the skill name and input fields should now match exactly.
- If Claude still does not list the Stage 4 skill, double-check that your MCP client is pointing to the new folder path and that the reload completed without errors.

## ❓ Frequently Asked Questions

- **Why did the walkthrough describe a skill my ZIP didn't have?** The HTML walkthrough was updated on 2026-06-27 to document v1.5 features. If you downloaded the ZIP before that date, you received v1.4, which predates the walkthrough update.
- **Can I add the missing skill manually?** No. Skill folders have internal dependencies and schema files. Always download the full official package to avoid compatibility issues.
- **Will my existing migration projects be affected?** No. Upgrading the skills package only adds new capabilities; it does not alter data from projects already completed with earlier skills.
- **Where can I see which version I have without unzipping?** The ZIP filename includes the version number and release date, for example `website-migration-skills-v1.4-2026-06-23.zip`.
