Each OTTO site you activate requires a Site Audit project for the same domain — if one does not already exist, OTTO automatically creates the Site Audit project first, then creates the OTTO project. OTTO site slots and Site Audit project slots are separate quotas, each with its own limit. If either quota is lower than expected — or does not match what your plan includes — you may be unable to add new OTTO sites, even if you are paying for more capacity. This article explains what causes the mismatch and how to get it resolved quickly.



## ⚙️ Why This Happens

Your Site Audit quota is tied directly to your subscription plan. If your account was set up incorrectly or your quota was not updated when you upgraded, the number of Site Audit slots available on your account may be lower than the number your plan entitles you to. This can leave you stuck: you cannot add new OTTO sites because you have no free OTTO site slot, or no free Site Audit project slot for a brand-new domain, and you cannot free up slots by deleting existing Site Audits because they are linked to active OTTO projects.

1. Navigate to the Site Audit section of your account and review how many Site Audits are currently in use.
2. Compare this number against the Site Audit allowance stated on your current plan. You can find your plan details in your account billing or subscription settings.
3. If the number of slots available is lower than your plan's stated allowance, your quota has not been correctly applied and needs to be corrected by our team.

## 🚀 How to Get Your Quota Corrected

This type of quota mismatch cannot be self-corrected from inside the platform — it requires a manual adjustment by our support team. Here is exactly what to do to get it resolved as quickly as possible:

1. Contact our support team through the chat widget in the platform.
2. Tell the agent: **"My Site Audit quota does not match my plan entitlement and I cannot add new OTTO sites."**
3. Share your current plan name and the number of Site Audit slots you expect to have based on your subscription.
4. The agent will verify your plan details and apply a manual quota correction to your account — this is a straightforward fix that is typically completed within the same support session.
5. Once the agent confirms the fix is applied, return to the Site Audit section and verify that your available slot count has increased. You should then be able to add additional OTTO sites immediately.

## 💡 Important Notes

- **Do not delete active Site Audits** that are linked to running OTTO projects in order to free up space — this can disrupt your active OTTO automation. Wait for the quota correction instead.
- Once your quota is corrected, new Site Audit slots will become available and you can add additional OTTO sites without removing any existing ones.
- If you are planning to scale your OTTO usage significantly, mention this to the support agent so they can confirm your total entitlement and apply the right number of slots.
