## **What Is the OTTO AI Pixel?**

The OTTO AI Pixel is a small script that connects your PrestaShop website to Search Atlas. It allows OTTO to read your site's structure, gather SEO data, and automate on-page optimizations. The pixel must be present in the **`<head>`** section of every page on your site.

## **Before You Begin**

- You have an active Search Atlas account with OTTO AI enabled.
- You have administrator access to your PrestaShop back office.

## **Step 1: Copy Your OTTO AI Pixel Script**

1. Log in to Search Atlas and navigate to the OTTO AI section of your account.
2. Select the project that matches your PrestaShop website.
3. Locate your OTTO AI Pixel script within the project settings.
4. Copy the entire pixel script to your clipboard. Keep this tab open in case you need to copy it again.

## **Step 2: Add the Pixel to Your PrestaShop Site**

You need to add the pixel script to the **`<head>`** section of your PrestaShop site. The exact method will depend on your PrestaShop version, theme, and available modules. Common approaches include using a module that supports injecting code into the **`<head>`** section, or editing your active theme's template files directly to paste the script before the closing **`</head>`** tag.

## **Step 3: Confirm the Pixel Is Working**

After adding the pixel script to your site, verify it is active by following these steps:

3. To independently verify the pixel is present on your pages, open your PrestaShop homepage in a browser, right-click, and select **View Page Source**. Search the source code for your pixel script to confirm it appears inside the **`<head>`** section.
