Search Atlas enforces image limits in two separate areas of the platform: the **Social Media Library**, which stores your uploaded images, and the **Meta Ads tool**, which lets you generate AI-created images for ad campaigns. Knowing these limits helps you plan your content workflow and avoid unexpected restrictions.

## **🗂️ Social Media Library Image Limit**

The Social Media Library has a storage cap on the number of images you can hold at one time. To check your current usage and manage your stored images, navigate to Local → Media Library (Media Library), where you can view, upload, and delete images.

If you are unsure what your account's specific image limit is, please reach out to our support team so we can confirm the exact cap that applies to your account.

## **⚠️ What to Do When You Approach the Limit**

If you receive a notification or error indicating you have reached your image storage limit, keep the following in mind:

- You will not be able to upload new images once the limit is reached.
- To free up space, delete images you no longer need directly from the Media Library.
- Regularly auditing your library and removing unused assets is good practice to avoid unexpected upload restrictions.

## **🎨 Meta Ads Tool Image Creation Limit**

The Meta Ads tool allows you to generate AI-created images for your ad campaigns. This feature has a separate limit from the Social Media Library. If you have hit a limit or received an error when generating images in the Meta Ads tool, contact our support team to confirm the specific cap that applies to your account.

This limit applies to images created within the Meta Ads tool and is tracked independently of any images stored in your Social Media Library.

- Regularly audit your Social Media Library and delete outdated or unused images to stay within the storage cap.
- Download and archive important generated images externally before removing them from the platform so you do not lose creative assets.
