## **📋 Overview**

Content Genius lets you generate, edit, and publish SEO-optimised articles directly from the platform. Once your article is ready, publishing it takes just a few clicks — but the publish controls are located in a specific part of the editor that is easy to miss. This guide walks you through the full publishing workflow.

## **🗺️ How to Navigate to Content Genius**

1. Log in to your Search Atlas account.
2. In the **left sidebar**, click **Content**.
3. Select **Content Genius** from the sub-menu (page title: "What are we writing today?"). This opens Content Genius at **/content/seo-content-assistant**.
4. Click on the article you want to publish to open it in the editor.

## **📝 Step-by-Step: Publishing Your Article**

1. Open your generated article inside the Content Genius editor.
2. Review and finalise your content. Make any edits you need before publishing.
3. Look to the **top-right corner of the editor toolbar**. You will see a **Publish** button.
4. Click **Publish**. A publishing options panel will appear.
5. In the panel, choose your preferred publishing destination or method (for example, copying the content, exporting, or connecting to a CMS integration if configured).
6. Confirm your selection by clicking **Publish** again inside the panel.
7. A confirmation message will appear indicating that your article has been successfully published.

## **✅ What Happens After You Publish**

Once you have published an article, the following post-publish options are available directly from the editor:

- **Copy Content:** Copy the full article HTML or plain text to paste into your CMS manually.
- **Download:** Export the article as a file for offline use or upload to another platform.
- **Edit and Re-publish:** Return to the editor at any time to update the article and publish the revised version.
- **View Published Status:** The article card on the Content Genius dashboard will display a published indicator so you can track which articles are live.

## **⚠️ Common Issues and Fixes**

- **Publish button appears greyed out:** This usually means the article content is still being generated or a required field is empty. Wait for generation to complete fully, then try again.
- **No publishing panel appears after clicking Publish:** Scroll up to ensure no modal is hidden behind the toolbar, or try collapsing the left sidebar to give the editor more screen space.
- **Article saved but not published:** Saving and publishing are separate actions in Content Genius. A saved article remains a draft until you explicitly click **Publish** and confirm in the panel.
- **Can't find your article:** Navigate back to **Content → Content Genius**. All generated articles appear as cards on the main dashboard. Use the search bar or scroll to locate your article.

## **💡 Tips for a Smooth Publishing Experience**

- Complete your SEO score optimisations before publishing to get the most out of your content.
- If you plan to publish directly to WordPress or another CMS, ensure your integration is connected under your account settings before clicking Publish.
- You can generate, save, and publish multiple articles in a single session — each article card on the dashboard is managed independently.
