## **🧭 Overview**

Search Atlas supports content generation in multiple languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese. This article explains how to set the output language when creating content, so every article, outline, or copy block is produced in Chinese from the start.

## **📍 Where to Find the Content Generation Tools**

Search Atlas offers several content tools depending on your workflow. The most commonly used for long-form article generation are:

- **Content Genius** — Left sidebar → Content → Content Genius (What are we writing today?)
- **AI Content Templates** — Left sidebar → Content Assistant v3 → AI Content Templates

Both tools include a language setting that controls the language of the generated output. Follow the steps below based on which tool you are using.

## **✍️ Set Chinese as the Output Language in Content Genius**

1. In the left sidebar, click **Content**, then select **Content Genius** (What are we writing today?).
2. Start a new document or open an existing one.
3. Locate the **Language** field in the document settings panel. This field typically appears when you enter your target keyword or topic before generating content.
4. Click the language dropdown and select **Chinese (Simplified)** or **Chinese (Traditional)**, depending on your target audience.
5. Complete any remaining fields (keyword, topic, tone, and so on) and proceed to generate your content.

The generated article, headings, and suggestions will be returned in the language you selected.

## **📋 Set Chinese as the Output Language in AI Content Templates**

1. In the left sidebar, click **Content**, then select **AI Content Templates**.
2. Choose the template that matches your content type (for example, blog post, product description, or meta copy).
3. Inside the template form, look for the **Language** or **Output Language** field.
4. Select **Chinese (Simplified)** or **Chinese (Traditional)** from the dropdown.
5. Fill in the remaining required fields and click the generate button.

## **⚠️ Important Notes Before You Generate**

- **Keyword input language:** For best results, enter your seed keyword or topic in Chinese. This helps the AI produce more accurate and natural-sounding output aligned with your target market.
- **Language availability:** If you do not see a Chinese option in the language dropdown, your current plan or tool version may have a different language set. Contact support using the instructions at the bottom of this article.
- **One language per document:** The language setting applies to the entire document. If you need bilingual content, generate each language version separately.

## **🗺️ Other Content Tools and Language Support**

Additional tools under the **Content** section have their own language options where applicable:

- **Meta Generator** (Left sidebar → Content Assistant v3 → Meta Generator) — Supports language selection for meta titles and descriptions.
- **Content Planner** (Left sidebar → Content → Content Planner) — Topic clusters and briefs can be scoped to a language when setting up your project.
- **Topical Maps** (Left sidebar → Content → Topical Maps) — Enter your seed topic in Chinese to receive a topical map structured for a Chinese-language content strategy.

For **On-Page Audit** (Left sidebar → Content → On-Page Audit) and **Scholar** (Left sidebar → Content → Scholar), language output follows the language of the page or content you submit for analysis.

## **🔧 Troubleshooting**

- **Generated content appears in English despite selecting Chinese:** Confirm the language dropdown was saved before clicking generate. Try refreshing the page, re-selecting the language, and generating again.
- **Language dropdown is missing:** Some template types may not display a language field if the feature is not yet available for that template. Check for a general settings or preferences section within the tool.
- **Output is a mix of Chinese and English:** This can occur if the keyword or topic was entered in English. Re-enter your keyword in Chinese and regenerate.
