This article explains how to use **Report Builder** to generate a comprehensive prospecting report that highlights issues and opportunities across a client's SEO and Google Ads presence — giving you a ready-made deliverable to win new business.

## **📍 Where to Find It**

To access Report Builder, go to the **Left sidebar → Reports**. This opens the projects list where you can create and manage all your reports.

## **🛠️ Step-by-Step**

1. In the left sidebar, click **Reports** to open the Report Builder projects list.
2. Click **Create New Report** (or the equivalent new-project button) to start a fresh report for your prospect.
3. Enter the prospect's domain or business details when prompted so the report pulls data specific to their site.
4. In the report builder, add the sections relevant to your prospecting pitch. At minimum, include an **SEO audit** section to surface on-site issues and a **Google Ads** section to highlight paid search opportunities and inefficiencies.
5. Configure each section's settings — such as target keywords, location, and date range — to match the prospect's market and goals.
6. Once all sections are configured, click **Generate** (or **Run Report**) to compile the full audit.
7. When the report is ready, use the **Share** or **Export** option to download a PDF or create a shareable link you can send directly to the prospect.

## **✅ How to Confirm It Worked**

You'll know the report was generated successfully when:

- The report appears in your **Reports** projects list with a completed status (not "processing" or "pending").
- Opening the report shows populated data for each section — SEO issues are listed with severity indicators, and the Google Ads section displays findings such as wasted spend, missing keywords, or ad copy gaps.
- The **Export** or **Share** button is active, confirming the report is fully rendered and ready to deliver to your prospect.
