Website Studio lets you build and refine your website using two methods: the **chat interface** and the **visual editor**. Understanding how credits are consumed — and knowing which tool to use for each task — will help you work efficiently and avoid unexpected charges.

## **💳 How Credits Are Charged for Chat-Based Edits**

Every time you send a message to the chat that results in a change to your website, **one credit is consumed**. This applies regardless of how small the change is.

To use your credits wisely, try to **combine multiple changes into a single chat message** rather than sending separate messages for each individual change.

**Example:***"Change the hero headline to 'Grow Your Business' and update the button color to dark blue."* — This counts as one credit instead of two.

## **✏️ Making Edits With the Visual Editor (No Credit Charged)**

The **visual editor** allows you to make direct, manual changes to your website without consuming any credits. This is the best option for small text tweaks, formatting adjustments, or any change you can make yourself without AI assistance.

To access the visual editor, open your site in Website Studio and look for the visual editing option within the platform.

## **🗑️ Deleting a Line or Element**

If you need to remove a specific line, text block, or element from your site, you can use either method:

- **Visual editor:** Select the element you want to remove and use the available editing controls to delete it. The exact steps may vary depending on the element type.
- **Chat interface:** Ask the chat to remove the element for you — keep in mind this will use one credit.

If you are unsure how to delete a specific element in the visual editor, using the chat to request the removal is a reliable alternative.

## **⚡ Chat vs. Visual Editor: When to Use Each**

- **Use the chat** when you want the AI to generate new content, restructure a section, or make several complex changes at once.
- **Use the visual editor** when you are making small, precise changes that do not require AI assistance — this preserves your credits.
