## **Overview**

OTTO SEO is Search Atlas's AI-powered SEO automation layer. While the standard Site Auditor scans your site and surfaces issues, OTTO goes further — it monitors crawl progress in real time and gives you a suite of tools to act on findings automatically. This article explains what OTTO SEO offers beyond a standard scan and how to get the most out of it.

## **Finding OTTO SEO and Crawl Monitoring**

OTTO SEO is accessible from the left sidebar in Search Atlas via OTTO SEO → All Sites (SEO Automation). Once you are inside the OTTO SEO workspace, you can monitor the status of an active or completed crawl directly from the main dashboard view. The crawl monitoring area typically displays information such as:

- **Crawl progress** — an indicator showing how far along the current crawl is.
- **Pages crawled** — a count of URLs processed so far.
- **Crawl state** — whether OTTO is idle, actively crawling, or has completed its last run.
- **Last crawl timestamp** — when the most recent crawl finished.

If you are having trouble locating the crawl status information or it does not appear as expected, our support team can help you confirm the correct navigation path for your account.

## **OTTO SEO vs. Standard Site Auditor: Key Differences**

Both OTTO SEO and the standard Site Auditor identify on-page and technical SEO issues across your site. The main difference is what happens after issues are found. The standard Site Auditor surfaces problems and recommendations for you to act on manually. OTTO SEO is designed to go further by providing automation capabilities that allow you to act on those findings directly within the platform, rather than having to implement changes outside of Search Atlas.

If you want to understand exactly which automation features are available on your current plan or how a specific capability works, the support team can walk you through what is accessible in your account.
