## **Overview**

Search Atlas can integrate directly with your WordPress site to help you manage meta titles and meta descriptions for your posts. This article explains the general workflow for using this integration and what to have ready if you need additional help.

## **Before You Start**

Make sure the following are in place before following the steps below:

- Your WordPress site is connected to Search Atlas. If it is not connected yet, click the top-right avatar → Settings → Integrations / CMS Connectors and use the WordPress integration option to connect your site.
- You have at least Editor-level access to the WordPress site in question.
- The post you want to update already exists in WordPress, or you are ready to create a new one.

## **How to Add Meta Tags to WordPress Posts**

Once your WordPress site is connected to Search Atlas, you can manage meta titles and meta descriptions for your posts directly from within the platform. The general workflow is as follows:

1. Open the relevant tool in Search Atlas where you manage your content — such as the On-Page Audit or SEO Content Assistant — and locate the post you want to update.
2. Find the meta title and meta description fields for that post. These fields allow you to enter or edit the SEO metadata that will be applied to your WordPress post.
3. Enter your desired meta title and meta description values in the provided fields.
4. Use the available option to push or save those meta tag values to your connected WordPress site. This will update the meta title and meta description on the WordPress post without requiring a separate plugin.

After pushing the changes, visit your WordPress post and verify that the meta title and meta description have been updated as expected. If the fields do not appear or the push does not work, confirm that your WordPress connection is active under the top-right avatar → Settings → Integrations / CMS Connectors.
