## **🔍 Overview**

The Search Atlas WordPress plugin dashboard is intentionally **read-only**. This means the buttons and settings you see inside the plugin are for viewing data only — they are not designed to accept edits or changes directly. This is expected behaviour, not a bug.

All changes to your SEO settings, content, and configurations must be made inside the **main Search Atlas dashboard** at your Search Atlas account. The plugin then reflects those changes on your WordPress site.

## **❓ Why Are the Plugin Dashboard Buttons Not Working?**

If you click buttons inside the WordPress plugin dashboard and nothing happens — or the controls appear greyed out or unresponsive — this is because the plugin interface is designed to **display** your Search Atlas data, not to let you edit it.

## **✅ Where to Make Your Changes**

To make changes that will apply to your WordPress site:

1. Log in to your Search Atlas account.
2. Navigate to the relevant tool or section where you want to make a change.
3. Make and save your changes inside the Search Atlas dashboard.
4. Your WordPress site will reflect the updated settings via the plugin.

You do not need to take any additional action inside the WordPress plugin itself after saving changes in the main dashboard.

## **🔄 How the Plugin and Dashboard Work Together**

Think of the Search Atlas WordPress plugin as a **display layer** that connects your WordPress site to your Search Atlas account. The **Search Atlas dashboard** is where all SEO logic, configurations, and content settings are managed. The **WordPress plugin** reads those settings and applies them to your site. Any data shown inside the plugin dashboard is for reference only.
