You can install the OTTO SEO pixel on a LearnWorlds site that uses a custom domain. The pixel must be placed in the **header section** of your LearnWorlds site — not the body. This article walks you through finding your pixel code in Search Atlas and adding it correctly inside LearnWorlds.

# **🧭 Step 1: Copy Your OTTO SEO Pixel Code**

1. Log in to your Search Atlas account.
2. In the left sidebar, click **OTTO SEO**, then open **SEO Automation**.
3. Locate your OTTO SEO pixel code. It is a short script snippet unique to your website.
4. Click to copy the pixel code.

# **🌐 Step 2: Confirm Your Custom Domain Is Active in LearnWorlds**

Before installing the pixel, make sure your custom domain is fully connected and active in LearnWorlds. If the domain is still propagating or not yet verified, the pixel will not fire correctly.

1. Log in to your LearnWorlds admin dashboard.
2. Go to **Settings → Domain** and confirm your custom domain shows a verified or active status.

# **📋 Step 3: Add the Pixel to the LearnWorlds Header**

The OTTO SEO pixel must go in the **header** of your LearnWorlds site. Placing it in the body will cause it to load incorrectly and tracking data will not be recorded.

1. In your LearnWorlds admin dashboard, navigate to **Settings → Tracking Scripts** (sometimes labelled **Custom Scripts** or **Head Code** depending on your LearnWorlds plan).
2. Locate the field labelled **Header**, **Head Code**, or **Custom Head Scripts**.
3. Paste your OTTO SEO pixel code into that field.
4. Save your changes.

**Important:** Do not paste the pixel code into any field labelled Body, Footer, or Custom Body Scripts. The pixel will only work correctly when loaded from the **header** section.

# **✅ Step 4: Verify the Pixel Is Firing**

After saving, confirm the pixel is active:

1. Return to **OTTO SEO** in the left sidebar and open **SEO Automation** in Search Atlas.
2. Check the pixel status indicator for your site. It may take a few minutes to update after installation.
3. Visit your LearnWorlds site in a browser, then reload the Search Atlas pixel status. A green or active status confirms the pixel is receiving data.

If the status does not update after 10–15 minutes, clear your browser cache, revisit your LearnWorlds site, and check again.

# **⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid**

- **Placing the pixel in the body:** The OTTO SEO pixel must be in the header. Body placement is incorrect and will prevent the pixel from working.
- **Adding the pixel before the custom domain is active:** Always verify your custom domain is live in LearnWorlds before installing the pixel.
- **Pasting the pixel in a page-level editor:** Use the site-wide header scripts field, not a single page's custom code block, unless you intentionally want tracking on one page only.
- **Duplicating the pixel code:** Only paste the pixel once. Multiple instances can cause tracking conflicts.
