From the Home page, go to OTTO & Audit.
Click +Create.
Enter your website URL for the project → click Continue.
Select your Google Search Console (GSC) property (if available).
If not visible, go to the GSC tab and activate the project globally.
Select your Google Business Profile (GBP) (if available).
Review and add your Business Information:
Business address
Social profiles
Author (Authorship)
Click Continue.

Click Continue.
Open your new OTTO project.

Apply across your entire OTTO project:
Open your OTTO project → go to Autopilot / Settings.
Select the AI Writing tab.
In Additional AI Instructions, enter your guidelines (max 1000 characters).
Click Update Settings.
If the limit is exceeded, an error will block saving.
To delete → clear the field and click Update Settings.
Issue-Level Instructions
Apply to specific OTTO issues:
Navigate to the issue (e.g., Title Tags).
Click Refine Prompt → side drawer opens.
Enter custom instructions (max 1000 characters).
Click Save.
These apply only to that issue, in addition to project-level settings.

When disengaged:
All fixes remain saved.
Fixes are hidden on your site until re-engaged.
No permanent data loss.
