Overview
OTTO Deep Freeze is a free continuity feature that allows you to maintain your deployed fixes even after canceling your Search Atlas subscription. Deep Freeze ensures that your optimization work remains intact while freeing up site quotas for other projects.
How Deep Freeze Works
When you place a project in Deep Freeze:
All currently deployed fixes remain active on your website as long as the OTTO pixel remains installed
Your site quota is released after 14 days, allowing you to use it for another project after that period
You maintain access to your project through an open link
The project stops being actively crawled, meaning no new issues will be identified
You can continue to manage existing fixes (undeploy or edit), but cannot deploy new fixes
How to Use Deep Freeze
Putting a Project in Deep Freeze
Navigate to your OTTO project settings
Select the "Deep Freeze" option
Confirm your choice to freeze the project
Note that your site quota will be released after 14 days
Managing a Frozen Project
Access your frozen project through the provided open link
View all currently deployed fixes
To edit or undeploy a fix:
Select the specific fix you wish to modify
Make necessary changes or click "Undeploy" for that specific fix
